We’re recruiting for a confident and customer-driven Counter Sales / Trades Person to join a busy branch in Harlow, Essex. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing product knowledge, practical advice, and ensuring a smooth and efficient sales experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve customers at the trade counter, understanding their needs and recommending suitable products
- Identify sales opportunities and provide solutions to support customer requirements
- Process sales transactions and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented trade counter area
- Liaise with suppliers, internal departments, and other branches when needed
- Monitor stock levels and highlight low stock to management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety standards
- Support branch operations and assist with general duties, including stock checks
About You:
- Strong customer service and sales experience
- Proactive, approachable, and confident communicator
- Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Team player with a flexible, hands-on attitude
What's on offer:
- Salary £32,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
